The Brocade NetIron CER 2048C Router is a compact, 48-port system that's geared toward cumbersome Ethernet-edge routing applications. Equipped with four dozen 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports, the Brocade CER 2048C Router boasts a forwarding performance rate of 96 Gbps, 71 Mpps packet forwarding and 128 MB buffering. Thanks to Brocade's Multi-Service IronWare OS, the NetIron 2048C is simple to manage.
The Brocade 2048C Router belongs to the Brocade NetIron CER 2000 Series, which also includes 24-port models. Brocade 2048C Routers are available in AC (NI-CER-2048C-AC, NI-CER-2048C-ADVPREM-AC, NI-CER-2048C-RT-AC) and DC (NI-CER-2048C-DC, NI-CER-2048C-ADVPREM-DC, NI-CER-2048C-RT-DC).
