The Dot Hill 4730 AssuredSAN Storage Array is a highly dependable system that's capable of nearly 100% availability (99.999%, to be exact). As a shared storage system, the Dot Hill 4730 works with systems StorNext and Xsan, allowing for multiple 2K, 4K, HD or 3D media streams without dropping frames. Dot Hill engineers optimized the 4730 for a broad range of taxing applications, including video editing, streaming, finishing, broadcasting, telecommunications capture and onset acquisition.

With a dozen 3.5” drives, the Dot Hill 4730 boasts a capacity of up to 36 terabytes (TB). The 4730 Array supports SAS, Nearline SAS and SSD drives. Its built-in redundancy – including dual RAID controllers and hot-swappable components – minimizes downtime. Thanks to Dot Hill's intuitive web-based interface, the 4730 is remarkably easy to deploy, configure and manage.
