The HP AlphaServer ES47 server, sometimes referred to as the HP ES47 and the Alpha ES47, is a dynamic IT solution designed for organizations that require their servers to perform flawlessly during the most critical times. Powered by as many as four HP Alpha EV7 processors, the HP AlphaServer ES47 scales to 32 gigabytes of main memory, 27 PCI-X slots, six PCI slots, and four AGP slots.
The HP AlphaServer ES47 is available in tower and rack configurations; the tower model has two processors, while the rack model has two or four. The HP Alpha ES47 supports the True64 UNIX and OpenVMS operating systems.
