The HP DL165 G7 (HP ProLiant DL165 G7) Server is a 1U solution geared toward organizations with memory-intensive needs. Powered by two 8-core and 12-core AMD Opteron 6100 Series processors, the HP DL165 G7 Server scales to 256 gigabytes of main memory via 24 DIMMs and 8 terabytes of internal disk storage using SATA or SAS drives. Hewlett-Packard engineers designed the DL165 G7 for especially for high performance computing environments. Supporting 32-bit and 64-bit applications, the HP DL165 G7 is compatible with the Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Microsoft Windows, Oracle Solaris, VMware and Citrix Essential operating systems.
