The HP ProLiant ML310 G2 server, sometimes called the HP ML310 G2, is an improvement over its predecessor, the HP ProLiant ML310 G1. Powered by a single 3.0GHz, 3.2GHz or 3.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor, the HP ProLiant ML310 G2 supports up to 4 gigabytes of main memory and 2 terabytes of internal disk storage when using four 500-gigabyte hot-pluggable 3.5” SATA drives. The HP ProLiant ML310 G2 also supports SCSI and SAS drives for up to 1.2 terabytes and 587 gigabytes of internal disk storage, respectively.

Not only does the HP ProLiant ML310 G2 deliver whopping performance, it also offers flexibility and the ability to easily expand capabilities.With the HP ML310 G2, you can choose between a variety of operating environments, including Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, UnitedLinux, VMware, and Novell Netware. The HP ML310 G2 was followed by the HP ProLiant ML310 G3, HP ProLiant ML310 G4, HP ProLiant ML310 G5, and the HP ProLiant ML310 G5p.
