The HP SL165z G6 (HP ProLiant SL165z G6) Server is a scale-out solution that delivers remarkable performance and reliability coupled with energy efficiency. Hewlett-Packard engineers designed the HP SL165z G6 Server for datacenters that require massive amounts of memory. Powered by two AMD Opteron 2400 Series processors, the SL165z G6 scales to 128 gigabytes of RAM via 16 DIMMs and up to 4 terabytes of internal disk storage. For flexibility, the HP SL165z G6 supports the Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Microsoft Windows and Oracle Solaris operating systems.
