The IBM PS700 Blade (IBM BladeCenter PS700 Express) is a simple and scalable system compatible with the IBM BladeCenter E, T, H, HT and S chassises. The BladeCenter PS700 Express, powered by four IBM POWER7 processing cores, scales from 4 to 64 gigabytes of main memory per module via eight DIMMs and two 2.5” SAS 300 or 600-gigabyte drives. For flexibility, the IBM PS700 Blade supports the IBM AIX, Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux operating systems.
