The IBM HS21 blade server, known officially as the IBM BladeCenter HS21, is a highly user-friendly solution ideal for organizations looking to lower their energy consumptions while maintaining their speedy datacenter operations. The IBM HS12 blade server's design allows for minimal maintenance and uninterrupted service.
Powered by one or two dual-core or quad-core Intel Xeon processors, the IBM HS21 has a hot-swappable design that allows you to easily add or change server modules in your BladeCenter chassis without interrupting service. The IBM HS21, which supports up to 16 gigabytes of system memory and 734 gigabytes of internal storage, runs the Linux, Microsoft Windows, VMware, Sun Solaris, and Netware 6.5 operating systems.
