The LSI 6998 (LSI Engenio 6998) Storage System leverages cutting-edge 4Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) technology to deliver top performance, reliability and availability for organizations with enterprise-class needs. Scaling to 224 drives, the LSI 6998 Storage System holds up to 112 terabytes when fully packed with 500-gigabyte SATA disks. For flexibility, the LSI 6998 is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including Oracle Solaris, Linux, AIX, NetWare, Microsoft Windows, HP-UX and IRIX.
