The system features 1 terabyte (TB) of main memory and can handle 5 TB of data with compression.
The 3U Exalytics BI Machine, equipped with Oracle's BI Foundation Suite TimesTen In-Memory Database, is optimized for a variety of enterprise-level applications, including the management of profitability, rolling forecasts, inventory, revenue, demand forecasting and yielding. With two quad-data rate (QDR) 40 Gbps InfiniBand ports, the Exalytics Business Intelligence Machine offers remarkably fast connectivity. The Oracle Exalytics Machine also features two 10 GB Ethernet ports, four 1 GB Ethernet ports and a dedicated Integrated Lights Out Management (ILOM) port, which allows for total remote management. The Oracle Exalytics BI's direct-attached storage (DAS) system scales to 3.6 TB of raw capacity.
