The Sun Blade Storage Module M2 is an enterprise-class solution designed for the Sun Blade 6000 chassis. As many as nine Sun Blade Storage M2 modules fit into a single 6000 enclosure. Each blade stores up to 2.4 terabytes; each chassis scales to 21.6 terabytes. The Blade Storage M2 supports a variety of operating environments, including Oracle Solaris, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Microsoft Windows and VMware.
