L5500 Base silo comes with 1500 cartridge bins for LTO SCSI and FC drives. It is expandable up to 5500 cartridge bins by adding increments of 500 slots. The silo comes equipped with a standard library control unit (LCU), library management unit (LMU), ACSLS server, and one drive cabinet (for up to 20 LTO drives). Up to twenty four silos can be mated together in order to create a single virtual library with upwards of 132,000 cartridges. ACSLS software is sold separately but required.
