The Sun T3-1B (Sun SPARC T3-1B) Blade Server is a remarkably flexible system optimized for enterprise-class datacenters. Equipped with the 16-core SPARC T3 processor, the Sun SPARC T3-1B Blade features two times the throughput, two times the memory and four times the I/O bandwidth over previous systems of its type. The Sun T3-1B, with its space-saving design, can tackle up to 128 simultaneous threads and 16 floating point units. With 16 DIMM slots, the T3-1B scales to 128 gigabytes of RAM.
