The Sun Blade X6250 server module is a reliable and adaptable blade for the Sun Blade 6000. Each Sun X6250 server module features one or two dual- or quad-core Intel Xeon 5000 series processors at 3GHz. The Intel Xeon also features up to 4MB of L2 cache per pair of cores. Each Sun Blade X6250 module can hold 1, 2 and 4GB memory DIMMs, and a possible total of 64GB of main system RAM offering a great memory heavy solution for your 64-bit computing.
The Sun X6250 also offers a variety of operating-system options for end users including Soalris 10, Red Hat Linux, VMware and Windows Server 2003. The Sun X6250 delivers as much as two times the memory and input/output capabilities than competing servers of its type.
