The Sun X4275 server, known officially as the Sun Fire X4275, is a highly efficient computing and storage solution that delivers the best performance in its class. If you're looking to cut datacenter expenses, the Sun X4275 costs less than $1 per gigabyte of storage and features an energy-saving design. Powered by up to two Intel Xeon 5500 Series processors, this 2U x64 machine was built with multimedia streaming, data capturing/archiving and data warehousing in mind.

With Solid State Drives, you can increase your X4275's warehousing abilities considerably. The Sun X4275 comes equipped with a dozen 3.5” drive bays that support SAS, SATA and SSD disks and supports the Sun Solaris, OpenSolaris, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, VMware and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
