The 4U Sun X4600 M2 supports up to four hot-swappable 2.5-inch SAS disks, six PCI-e slots and two PCI-X slots. For flexibility, the Sun X4600 M2 supports a variety of operating environments, including Oracle Solaris, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Microsoft Windows and VMware.
