The Brocade 12000 (Brocade Silkworm 12000) Director is a Fibre Channel (FC) switch that's available in 32, 64 and dual 64-port configurations. Built with redundant and hot-pluggable components, the Brocade 12000 Director offers true reliability geared toward enterprise-class SAN environments. In one 14 enclosure, the Brocade Silkworm 12000 allows for up to 128 ports; it scales to 384 in a rack. The Silkworm 12000 delivers 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps performance.
