Backed by dual-core, quad-core or six-core AMD Opteron processors, the full-height Dell M905 Blade Server scales to 192 gigabytes of main memory via 24 DIMMs and 300 gigabytes of internal disk storage with two 2.5-inch 146-gigabyte SAS drives. Not only does the M905 Blade feature enhanced enhanced redundancy and connectivity, it also has an energy-efficient design. For flexibility, the PowerEdge M905 supports the Microsoft Windows, Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Solaris operating systems.
