The Dell PowerEdge R620 Server is a two-socket system that features remarkable memory and I/O capabilities. Thanks to its compact 1U form factor, the Dell R620 Server is perfect for space-constrained datacenters. Powered by Intel Xeon E5 processors, the Dell PowerEdge R620 scales to 768 gigabytes (GB) of main memory via two dozen DIMMs. Dell engineers designed the PowerEdge R620 Server for a variety of applications, especially high-performance computer, workgroup collaborations and virtualization.
